ABOUT ME

I am an American student studying abroad at the University of Lille. I love traveling, volunteering, speaking French, and learning about culture. I am a Leadership Studies and French Major and I plan to be a teacher when I graduate University. I am fun loving and adventurous although sometimes a bit shy, but once I get to know you a little I will talk you ear off.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught an immigrant from Egypt to drive so that she could drive her three children to the food shelf rather than taking three buses across town. The day that she took her driver's test I waited outside the office and the look on her face when she walked out with her new license in hand I will never forget. For me it was something simple I could do, two or three times a week driving, but for her it was clearly much more.

I am in a hurry now so I will update this more another time!
