Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

I am allowing myself to be guided by the suggestions of the people I meet along the way. I suppose God will show me the path he would have me take through others.

ABOUT ME

They would say I'm highly intelligent, and they might say I am an underacheiver (although I think that's misunderstood). I am usually quiet, because I prefer to listen to others so as to learn as much from them as possible, once I get to know someone a bit I start to open up. I'm easy to get along with, or at least I don't think I've ever had anyone dislike me.

PHILOSOPHY

You can always learn something from every person around.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I am just looking to surf, but when I settle, I plan on hosting as many surfers as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still waiting on the first. :)

Intereses

Finally getting a ride after walking with my thumb out for ten or fifteen miles. I spend my time reading, playing guitar, or exploring.

  • walking
  • drinking

Música, películas y libros

All music (except pop that is only popular because it's catchy), movies: Tarantino, Coen Brothers, Christopher Nolan, books: Too many, but I like Stephen King a lot

Algo increíble que he hecho

I was getting a fourty mile ride from Waynesville, GA to Waycross, GA. The man stops to get drinks at a convenient store, and as he's going in, he says through the window of his truck "Dude, you should just jack a vehicle and ditch it in Atlanta" and I look over as he's walking through the door and see he'd left his keys in his truck. We had a laugh when he got back.

Multiple times, I've had people giving me long rides offer home-cooked meals with their families, hot showers, a place to sleep, money, etc, etc. It has restored my faith in humanity, which had been dwindling before I left on this soul searching adventure.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

My best advice at this point is to never be complacent. Or in other words, always be willing to change yourself or your situation if you feel it's time.
Second best is always stay positive. It's never as bad as it seems, and if you think your life is good, then it is.
