ABOUT ME

I have major itchy feet syndrome!! Its my dad's fault, he was in the RAF when i was growing up so every 6 months - 2 years we moved to a new area or country. As a result as soon as i get settled anywhere im ready to move on.
Thats why i travel. Traveling gives me the feeling of moving somewhere new, while allowing me to live in one place for longer periods of time. Ive been at university for a year now, and if i wasnt going traveling this summer in america, then i dont think that i would return to university next year.

I hate package holidays... Also a trait which i picked up of my parents, who hate commercialism. I have never been to the costas in spain, or somewhere like the theme parks in florida. And to be honest i dont think i ever want to. I have just discovered the wonderness that is rollercoasters...and im 18!!! sad or what!!.

Now that im older, im starting to travel on my own. This summer is the first big trip that i will have undertaken without my parents. Last summer i only dissapeared off for the weekend to various european countries.

Growing up my holidays either consisted of crashing at friends houses (thats the great thing about the RAF, you have friends all over the world) Or partaking in house exchanges (you swap houses with a family for 2-3 weeks)

PHILOSOPHY

God i dotn know... how can you write about your philosopy in one paragraph. I suppose the big thing for me is going with the flow and the existance of fate. You can controll some stuff in your life, but equally there are decisions which are made for you. Like missing a party because you are stuck on a broken down bus, or doing somthing because someone says or does something that makes you belive thats its ment to be.

Another big thing is to try to be nice to people, and never make them feel belittled or bullied, no matter what you think of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The one time i have "couch surfed" was when my family did a house exchange to san francisco. On the way back up from a trip to monterey we stayed with the brother and sister in law of the family whos house we were staying with. So we spent 2 wonderful days in morgan hill, in a huge house on top of a hill in the middle of the desert, surrounded my wild deer, turkeys, boar and snakes. It was definately a grat experience

Interests

Going to the cinema, taking full advantage of student life, traveling off the beaten path.....obviously!!! Hopping to to manchester to catch a gig. Dancing the night away.
Extream sports....especially bungee jumping, rollercoasters.....infact anything that gets the adrelaline pumping.
I love adventures and end up turning the most ordinary thing into one. I love walking but I am incapable of going on a short walk, as i may be 1/2 a mile from home where i discover a lane or track which i decide to follow, which, 2hours later takes me home. Exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love action movies...i know wierd for a girl but hey! Music wise i kinda like everything, but im mostly into two types... techo (great for dancing to) and emo / commerical metal, which i love listening to.
Book wise i love parody. My favourite auther at the moment is Jasper FFord (no-one has ever heard of him). But the ann rice vampire cronicals, will always have a special place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ummm. been whale watching, been bungee jumping. Watched the sun rise over the viatmeese mountains. Eaten deep friend turantulars. Climmed agguille de midi, I dont really think that you can pick one thing from your life, as even the smallest things can bevery special to you.

I really dont know what to put here. ummm im a decent cook, i always work hard, im good at science ummm... I was offered a fashion scholership. Im a pretty good seamstress. I dont think that I have one major skill, just lots of little ones
