I'm a 19 year old English gap year student, currently wandering around the world slightly aimlessly, but having an awful lot of fun doing it. I grew up in the UK mainly, but I spent a few years abroad too in France, China, and Singapore. So far this year I've spent two months in South America, a month in Brussels, and then another two months in Nepal. Depending on when you are reading this, I am about to set off on, or have already set off on, a three month long trip around the US and Canada. Essentially, I love travelling. I also love reading, hiking, horse riding, writing and, my favourite, talking about whatever interests you because I'm sure it will also interest me. I'm desperate to meet friendly, interesting people who know a little, or a lot, about whichever city I'm visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite authors are Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, but I'm also a big fan of Hemmingway, Bernard Cornwell, Orwell, John Le Carré, Graham Greene and loads more.

Music wise, I don't really have a set favourite genre, it seems to vary depending on my mood and setting an awful lot.

As for movies, anything by Wes Anderson is an instant favourite although, like my music taste, my movie preferences vary. I usually avoid big Hollywood blockbusters and purely romantic movies, however rom-coms are a guilty pleasure of mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will happily help with washing up, cleaning, any chore at all really. I'm a decent cook, although no Michelin Stars, and can certainly help with that too. Mainly though, I will talk with you about whatever you want whenever you want to so if chill chats or intellectual discussions are something you enjoy, I'm your man.
