I am a young person currently on a gap year before I begin school in September 2016. I will be studying human ecology and sustainable agriculture, but I am also interested in anthropology, creative writing and ceramics. I love farming, cooking and sharing food with people and I am passionate about trying to create a more just and equitable food system.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been traveling for about 8 months, staying with hosts in exchange for farm work and staying in hostels at other points. I have had the most wonderful experiences living in peoples homes and spending time with locals, it is so much more meaningful to travel this way. I don't have a place of my own to host people, but someday I would love to. Otherwise I hope to use couch surfing more on future travels.
