About Me

I'm 24 years old and although I dont travel a lot, I love to do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurf to make the travelling experience (for me and the others) also about the people we meet. I think staying in a hotel cuts half of the fun when you travel. Not only for the expensive prices, but also because you don't get to know local people and their costumes.

Anytime I can I am a host for AIESEC trainees, but when I'm not having them in my house I might consider to recieve other people.

I never have been on a couchsurfing experience before, but I hope that this time when I'm travelling I can be lucky enough with a good experience.

Interests

I like calm activities such as going to pubs, visiting historical places, spending the day in the beach, watching movies. But when I travel I also like to explore the most I can, so I can go hiking, swiming, biking and try on new things. I really can't cook, but I can always try something new and teach some of brazilian regional food to foreings.
I love pets. Specially cats and dogs, as I have two dogs and a cat at home as part of the familly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ben to Colombia last year, and it was just the best experience! I spent some days working in a city called Sincelejo in an AIESEC Project for teens and young people (developing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills). I lived with other 10 people in a trainee house and after that I travelled by myself staying in hostels in the colombian coast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge of Brazil and we can talk about cultural diferences in the countries, as I've been to Colombia and I know people from all over the world.
We can always share our music and food tastes and play diferent games. I like doing hand crafts, so I could teach something to my hosts and give them little gifts.
I can also help taking care of dogs and cats or even children, if the host needs for a while.
My university graduation also allows me to talk about international politics and economy - wich i like a lot - if my host also likes to discuss it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides the cultural sharing, I consider myself proactive and I can help with the housework while I'm there (except cooking, I'm terrilble at it. I can make a dinner or a desert, but don't count that it will be perfect).
