Seeing a city as a tourist and seeing a city with a local to show you around is a completely different experience. I really enjoy showing Ottawa to visitors and hope to meet as many people as possible who are willing to show me around their cities.

ABOUT ME

I travel as much as I possibly can but I'm too tall to fit on a couch. For me, a huge part of travelling is the people I meet along the way.

I've done a lot of travelling on my own.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is the forgotten form of education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling is so much more rewarding when you have the opportunity to see a place from a locals perspective. I live next door to 3 hostels and love showing Ottawa to travellers and I hope to use this site to find people who can show me their home towns.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on friends couches all over Canada and in Ireland. As I mentioned above, I'm too big for a couch. I now prefer to stay in a hostel or hotel but have people show me around the city.

I've had friends from all over the world stay on my couch but I'm not keen on the idea of offering it up to strangers.
