ABOUT ME

I'm a divorced 40 year old father of 2 great kids.
I'm a brain cancer survivor, and I am happy to be alive. I'm really into outdoors activities; Hiking, backpacking, camping, climbing(rocks/mtns.), photography, mt. biking.

I spent 10 years cooking in restaurants in CA and WA, and that's where I learned my rudimentary graspe of Spanish.

I have never traveled to Europe, but I am trying to make the most of my first trip.

I enjoy being around and talking to new people, and think that everyone has an interesting perspective to lend on life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to offer my couch and hospitality to anyone that ever wants to visit Washington state in the U.S. We have a lot to see and a few nice mountains to climb and ski/snowboard.

I survived a 5 year fight against brain cancer, and lived to talk about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a teacher/trainer for my job and I enjoy teaching Molecular Biology and Genetic Analysis techniques to other scientists, and interested people.
