Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up on CS because I want to go places in Europe but I don't have any money to stay in hotels... My place is currently too small to accomodate anyone, but when I'm richer and I have a real house, I'll definitely host fellow coushsurfers.

Interests

I'm a cinema lover and an addict/uberfan of progressive rock (Camel, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Pink Floyd, Steve Hackett, Marillion etc.) and classic rock (Led Zeppelin, The Doors, AC/DC etc.). I also listen to prog metal (Pain of Salvation, Riverside etc.), classical music and jazz.

I am also an avid reader, from anything to Anthony Burgess to Paul Auster and Douglas Coupland, mostly fun books to read. I have currently some 50+ books on my shelves.

My projects are to create my own internet-based business in order to live anywhere I want in the world. Yes, I love traveling, and though I'm only 20, I've already been in 20 countries.

Movies : Lord of the Rings, Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, The Truman Show, American Psycho, Jason Bourne trilogy, Matrix, any Christopher Nolan movie, Monty Pythons (huge fan), Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut...

Music : progressive rock (Camel, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Pink Floyd, Steve Hackett, Marillion etc.) and classic rock (Led Zeppelin, The Doors etc.). One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I discovered a treasure-trove from a Spanish gallion in the Philippines island of Palawan. Just kidding.

Really this time :
I've swam with seals at 7am in the freezing water of New Zealand, and with sharks in the China Sea.

I've danced alongside the Prime Minister of Malaysia and his wife, after he himself had put own his karaoke pants to sing a song. I also ate at his palace, which was close to my house.

I got lost in the Malaysian jungle (in the middle of nowhere) for one hour, before finding my way back to camp. Also in Malaysia, I crawled in off-circuit cave tunnels and cave rivers for hours, sometimes in so small places the bats on the wall could amost touch my hair. That was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk about prog rock and why it's such an amazing music. I can teach anyone how to play football. I can teach some entrepreneurial tips.
