If we meet in person I will most likely interview you in some capacity. I'm an anthropologist by training and heart, so collecting stories is how I interact in the world. I will always choose listening over talking, and I take notes on my observations of life in my most prized possession and essential travel item, my visual journal (and brain).
My current passion and practice is helping at-risk youth in LA navigate higher education systems. Before that I was urban farming, where I learned a lot about earth and people and myself. I'm able to help with any stage of a garden, from beginning to maintaining to designing what works based on space and location. I also make jewelry and collect vintage fishing gear. Lots more random lil things I love and can teach you about.
I make art to make sense of the world and do a lot of random things that make up a full life, that just keeps growing. Nothing sounds more fun to me than walking down a busy street in a new city, visiting museums, waking up to foreign views and taking in the vibes.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
My upcoming dream destinations in the US are NY, NM, Maine, and Boston.
