I am twenty-four and live in Grosse Pointe. I'm a journalism major in Detroit and have my associates degree in culinary arts. I love music, traveling, and reading: all things that help to expand my mind and understand the world and the people in it. I approach every situation with a sense of cultural relativism, meaning I'm open to all people and their beliefs and will not argue that one is better than another. Basically, I'm super chill and hate drama.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people with interesting world views. Also, I like to travel on a budget.
Biking, writing, singing, cooking, reading, swimming.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I will listen to anything from Madonna to Mars Volta to The Moody Blues. I rarely hear music I don't like. I just tried to think of favorites and the list was like the set list of a festival.
Movies: Weird foreign and old school films really interest me, I also like a film with really unique, diverse characters. Favorite directors: Frederico Fellini, Lars von Trier, Sophia Copolla, Francis Ford Copolla, Wes Anderson.
Books: Fantasy themes like The Magicians series, Dystopian novels like 1984 and Brave new World, anything by John Iriving
