ABOUT ME

I´m a fairly friendly and adventurous girl in my early thirties, currently travelling solo through South America for a few months on my way to Colombia where I will meet up with my fiance and his family and do some volunteer work.
What I really want out of my travelling experience at the moment is to meander at my own pace, get out and about in this amazing landscape, improve my Spanish, try new foods, learn stuff and meet some interesting people along the way. I´m also open to opportunities to do some volunteer work. I´m not much of a party girl, at least not at the moment, although I do like the odd big night out - as long as there´s good music and dancing involved!

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to be happy, honest, kind, live simply, and enjoy life as much as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, since I´m travelling, I don´t have a couch to offer, but will be happy to do so in the future when I´m back in Melbourne (or wherever!). So for now I´m looking for opportunities to surf for short amounts of time in the places I´m visiting. I´m a bit tired of the backpacking/hostel scene, so I think couchsurfing could be a good alternative.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None! I was a little apprehensive about trying couchsurfing, but I´ve heard lots of positive experiences from other travellers I´ve met so it´s time to give it a go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did the Ciudad Perdida (Lost City) trek last year in Colombia - absolutely loved it. Also saw Macchu Pichu with my eyes - incredible!
