About Me

ABOUT ME

Interested in meeting new people, swapping travel stories, and learning (and sharing) local lore.

Communication is key; I'm also a wizard of systems and goal orienting. Passionate about progress.

Generally, working to grow the super-powered network of effective folks trying to make good things happen and having a grand 'ol time in process. If this sounds like something you're interested in, or if you're just super interesting, you should totally hop on board!

..What? You need more convincing?

I'm AWESOME. Seriously. Also, *totally* humble.

Much of my awesomeness is intentionally earned - the product of blood, sweat, and sweet salty tears. The rest of it's mostly due to luck and good timing.

Spent the better part of the past 10+ years building/working in the climate/energy movement, not because the planet needs saving (which it does), but because building power/community and connecting people is my drug of choice - it feels *really* good.

Now a bit wiser and more experienced, leveraging social capital for capital gains (read: adult-ing), and working hard to maintain that sense of connectedness at every turn.

(What?.. too much hippie gibberish? I promise I'm not one of those annoying self-righteous environmentalists..)

PHILOSOPHY

Squeeze every last drop. Savor each sip. Leave it better than you found it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm in the business of getting shit done (for reals - it's the company tagline), and love what I do. Currently, growing my world-saving consulting practice while simultaneously figuring out how to make more money saving said world (genius master-minding always welcome). I just took a FT gig (first in 7 years) with an enviro org doing all the good enviro org-y stuff... which means I work 4X as much for 1/2 the pay.

Spare time also includes and welcomes more of: thrill rides + challenges. climbing/climbing on/jumping off things. laughing inappropriately. being surreptitiously helpful. craftiness (as in arts and..only mischief on occasion). spontaneous (and planned) travel. woodsy jaunts. outdoor anything. digging in dirt. engaging idle hands. building crap (really, anything with power tools). hurling head-first into physical endeavors far beyond my skill level. absolute silliness/humorous calamities. illegal swimming/pretty much any activity in (non-chlorinated) water. making run-on, ill-punctuated lists. social progress - one conversation at a time.
