CURRENT MISSION

Currently, I am trying to see as much of this world as I can. I’m trying to open myself to new experiences and meet new people and maybe make some new friends along the way :-)

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back person - I can just as easily have fun in a loud, crowded club as I can sitting at home reading a book! I love meeting new people, especially people who are interested in traveling, like I am. I like hearing other points of view and how different people perceive different things - all I ask is that you are respectful of my opinions, too. I currently live in a home with two roommates and three cats, so I'm used to everything I love being covered in animal hair.

I'm always up for an adventure, and like to hear about others' adventures as well!

Interests

TRAVEL! But also - books, music, tea, food/cooking, cats, nature, fitness (sometimes - mostly my interest is to make up for the food I eat!), new people, dancing, rainy days.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to choose!

I rarely have the attention span for movies, so I have very few favorites.

Books? I love all sorts of books - novels, biographies, non-fiction, historical, classics - I read a little bit of everything (although I have gotten pickier as I have gotten older..)

Music? I like to listen to a mix of everything, usually what would be labeled as alternative but you can find a wide variety on my iPod - classic rock, Bollywood hits, rap/hip-hop (I'm from the dirty South, c'mon!), oldies, electronica, etc. I'm open to listen to almost anything!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been teaching dance for over 8 years, so if you are interested in learning a few ballet moves or how to tap dance, I'm your girl. I also have learned quite a bit about stretching and how to make your muscles longer and leaner in the process. I'm always willing to share!

I have also worked in restaurants all of my working life. I'm no world-class chef by any means, but I can show you the basics of cooking and teach you how to make a few quick and easy meals if you are a beginner!
