About Me

Living in Iceland traveling the world going to music festivals. I'll be in Akureyri for AK-Extreme this weekend and looking for a place to stay or people to hang out with!

I listen to tunes, read words, write words, take pictures, expand my consciousness when possible and I think you're awesome :)

Short list of things I adore:

-Meeting new people
-Traveling the world
-Learning new languages
-Eating vegetables :)
-Electronic dance music
-Music Festivals
-Dancing whenever possible
-Being as comfortable as possible with the unknown

I believe in a global consciousness. We are all connected and it's getting easier and easier every day to reach out to people living thousands of miles from you. What an amazing world!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

At the moment I have just moved to Reykjavík, Iceland in a living situation which is not appropriate to house surfers, unfortunately! But I would love to meet you for a coffee or a drink so feel free to reach out :)

I studied abroad in England for a year. While I was there I traveled around Europe as much as possible and couch surfed where possible. I also had some delicious coffee with some people who passed by Sunderland, England.

I couchsurfed in Greece with an amazing individual named Gorgios. I couldn't have asked for a better host!

dance music, film, learning, dancing, art, languages, traveling and when all of those things come together- it's amazing!

Music, Movies & Books

A Global Brain by Howard Bloom, Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

As far as music goes I started with a punk rock edge very early. The Sex Pistols were my favourite band at age 12 haha. I loved the community of the punk scene and the motivation to change the world. When punk became hardcore and post-hardcore and synths became more and more popular I became interested in electronic dance music. Now, dance music is everything to me. Deep House and Trance completely envelope my soul. I can barely explain it. So many good vibes from dance music :)

I started going to music festivals years and years ago but Bonnaroo 2011 change my life! I got my first taste of live EDM and that was it for me. Now I've hit many major music festivals in the US and around the world like:

-Electric Zoo (2012, 2013)
-Electric Daisy Carnival New York (2012, 2013)
-Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (2014)
-Ultra Music Festival (2012)
-Camp Bisco (2012)
-TomorrowWorld (2013)
-Iceland Airwaves (2013)
-Sonar Reykjavik (2014)
-Mysteryland (2014)

I'd like to hit international festivals like Tomorrowland and OZORA.

My favourite DJ is Armin van Buuren. Right now I'm listening to a lot of Lexer, Thugfucker, Fehrplay, Above & Beyond, Dennis Kruissen, Kolsch, Moderat, Klangkarussel and sooo many more.
