Hi. I am a young at heart girl (from just south of London U.K) who loves adventure, exploring and meeting new people. I am friendly and love helping out and mucking in and learning new skills. I believe everyone should have equal rights regardless of race, religion, beliefs or sexuality and respect people for their actions not where they come from; kindness is the most important trait a person can have. I want to help protect the earth, animals and people on it. I am optimistic, have a thirst for knowledge and life and feel really fortunate. I am not great at time keeping I like to go with the flow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had a dream for a very long time to visit Nepal and now my daughter has gone off to university I am free to travel. As soon as I can afford it, I want to volunteer myself in Nepal and immerse myself in the culture and live like a local. I don't have any savings so it may take me a while but hoping to arrive early 2017.

Interests

I love climbing ( bouldering), travelling to new places, trying to learn new languages, spending time with my wonderful friends and family. Protesting against animal captivity and cruelty. It only takes a small amount of people to make big changes. If I am barefeet, near rock, trees or water I am a happy bunny .

I don't have a tv, I am an outdoorsy girl. I love to read and love music; favourite band right now is ( Nahko and medicine for the people) I love hip hop, dance music, folky rock.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a nanny and have been looking after children for 26 years. I love my job. I look after 5 girls (2-6years) for 3 days a week and 4 boys ( 6-15y) for 2 days a week. I am learning TEFL and Self teaching Nepali with you tube videos. I use to be a gymnastics coach. I am hard working, kind and love nurturing children into happy, confident, well balanced people.
