- I DO NOT LIVE IN OR CLOSE TO BADEN-BADEN, IT'S 20km FROM MY HOME. -
So if you don't bring a car or a lot of time and want to see Baden-Baden, my place is not for you :-)
leave the comfort zone - again!
31 years in the meantime, and back in my own apartment.
I could gain a lot of foreign experience and want to give back some experience as soon as possible.
My main profession is to give technical trainings, but there are also a lot of other jobs like car photographer, web designer, programmer, electrical engineering and fruitpicker :)
I can be a very minimalistic person when there is a need to! So don't worry over my CouchRequests, a piece of green for my tent should be enough at most of the times.
I love live-music and the vibrant feeling of irish pubs, including Guinness. So if you have one close to your place, I want to see it!
You aren't a good cook? well, me neither, that means we need to eat a lot of unhealthy stuff. I'm addicted to fast food, frozen food, and all that stuff that needs less than 3 minutes in the microwave.
There is always the last and final question ... what is the meaning of live ?- is it to make other people happy?- is it to be a good person?- is it to have a family and good friends?what is your opinion?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, Surfing, Meetups… everything that is fun for you is fun for me
When I came to a rural area in Australia for a job interview, there were no possibilites to stay in town, this is how I really started couchsurfing. The Couchsurfer, Shay, hostet me for the job interview, and after that for another week till I found my own accommodation. Thank you very much for that!
Besides that, I travelled with other couchsurfers and joined some meetings.
photography, geocaching, hiking and trekking, camping, outdoor, guitar, computers and electronics, high-tech, motobikes, and many more...
Music, Movies, and Books
I like music, have my own guitar and in the last 6 months I had the time to grow my experience to a good beginner level.
When I travel, there is many chillout music on my Ipod. Much of reggae or old-school things like CCR, Bob Dylan, Gun's n Roses, but also some Hard Rock stuff and Metal like Disturbed, Metallica and so on.
I have no TV, so I'm not familiar with the latest series, soaps and movies, sorry about that, but sometimes I enjoy to visit the cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
climbed Mt Yasur in Vanuatu and watched the active volcano throwing lava all over the place, just stunning!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you many things in the outdoor area. How to navigate with a GPS and topographic map, pack your backpack without getting trouble with the weight, well, I would say making fire, but I'm not really good with that, often I use just a gas burner :)
I like to take photos and worked for one year as an car photographer at Audi and VW. I like to show you some basics for good photos and how you can improve the picture with computer programs.
I want to learn how to dance, who helps ?
