About Me

working in port au prince for six months

life affirming philosophy of intrinsic goodness

stay up late, wake up early.

i like to sing sing sing. i really enjoy studying the law, i like to make any home i'm in nice, and travel and collect trinkets and memories. i like to shop for clothes and more clothes and give away clothes to friends and books and goodies and treats, and also i like to take things. i hate stealing. i like to post up at a local bar and chat with bar keepers and people. i never mind being alone, i really enjoy being with others. i like to pack, i much prefer it to unpacking. i like to surprise people, and not divulge everything about my self all at once.

no shoes, please.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i host, i surf, i've attended local events

great way to travel, meet locals and other travelers, and invite people into my home.

learning new guitar chords, interesting books poets musicians that i haven't heard of, drawing my couch over and over again until i learn how to portray depth in images, staying busy and maxing out. exploring cities, saturdays, rainy days, smiling.

i'm interested professionally in criminal justice and race.

Music, Movies, and Books

i fall asleep during movies, so i've seen a lot of great beginnings.

music + books are life, recently i've been listening to black sabbath for the first time ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping under the stars in the desert wih the Tuareg, nomads of the Sahara.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you many many songs. We can harmonize. I might even be able to give you some good life advice; my mom's a therapist and I've picked up some of that over the years. i have some good experience in non profit work, both philanthropically and grassRoots. I know nyc pretty well. i know how to drive stick as of 5/2012 heh heh heh.

teach me guitar someone pleassse!! I just started learning, I'm making great progress but could use some teachings. teach me to think about something from a different point of view. teach me about your favorite wine/food pairing...i'm a vegetarian and don't pair anything, especially not socks.
