About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Avoid mission statements

ABOUT ME

Nhung (written by Tony): quiet and gentle around new people, foul-mouthed and cynical around old friends. A sublime stormy soul who struggles with small talk.

Tony (written by Nhung): Looks like a hippy but is really a dark-humoured slacker. Mostly calm and open-minded, occasionally argumentative and listless. For some reason people seem to like him.

PHILOSOPHY

Watch out where the huskies go. Don't eat the yellow snow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're looking for couches for the next few months, but when we get back our spare room will be well and truly available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've only just started this in an official capacity but we've both slept on countless couches and floors of friends, and had countless friends sleep on our well-worn spare futon.

Interests

Nhung's obsessed with learning languages, history, designs and arts that touch people's heart, cats, big hairy dogs, dSLR photography gear. She usually hides behind some semi-serious looking camera but most the pictures are pretty crap. She also likes cooking, and sometimes spends too much time in the kitchen. Nhung gets excited about food, especially when they're on the road, i.e running into some cloud ear mushroom or wild figs could make her extremely happy.

Tony loves water. He jumps into the water anywhere, even if it's knee-deep, or freshly melted snow. He loves good books, live music and independent movies.
