About Me

Find a job! Arrgh!

I'm me - 29, looking for a job after completing graduate school at UMass, trying to spend as little money as possible :)

I'm from North Dakota originally, and grew a bit sick of the frozen tundra state... I'm Liberal, Agnostic (or I suppose Deist would be a closer description), a cat person, and a good cook. I like equally heading out on the town or sitting in and playing board games. I get along with most everyone, and look forward to meeting new people through couchsurfing. I also look forward to having my own couch, so as to better participate, but right now, locating a permanent job comes first. I love skiing in the winter, and camping in the summer... huge NFL football fan as well (49ers), so hopefully if I meet you on a weekend, you can handle that :D

Worry not. It doesn't accomplish anything, and you might get an ulcer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't know yet, I'm new to all of this, so trying to get my bearings.

Skiing, swimming, reading, geocaching, NFL Football, board games, finding cheap stuff on craigslist.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Dispatch (always), David Ford, Jeff Buckley, most classic rock, 90's rap, grunge, & punk, classical, some jazz. Movies: Netflix says I like dark, cerebral movies, horror movies, Pixar movies, action movies, and dramas. Books: Fantasy/Sci-fi, Contemporary fiction, classical Russian literature, other classics dependent on the title.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glacier National Park - spent a week there, and even without the glaciers (since they all melted), it's breathtaking. And extremely relaxing, assuming you find a campsite without 900 motorhomes all over the place. The one thing you have to watch out for, is that when you take the Going-to-the-Sun road, it had best not be in a torrential downpour. Jesus that was scary.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, United States
