Hi, my name is Renaud. I'm French. Not much to be said about me, I'm into sports (both playing and watching), especially football and tennis. I've recently gotten addicted to TV series, especially Game of Thrones. I love eating, and discovering local food is always of paramount importance when traveling around. Most of all I love going out and having a laugh with people. I'm in my penultimate high school year and specialise in general science courses, such as mathematics, chemistry and biology. I'd like to work in the IT sector in the future, probably in app designing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Is there any better way to discover a place than meeting locals ? I enjoy traveling and have moved a lot, although often in the same countries. I'd like to see more of the world in the upcoming years, and to meet a lot of different people. My elder brother is an experienced CS'er and he's the one who advised me to be part of this beautiful community. The number of good experiences and loyal friends he's made during his CS trips impressed me and made me want to try too.

Music, Movies, and Books

enjoy music, especially US rap and Hip hop. But i love any kind of music that is played with passion.
Movies are a big thing for me, there are certain movies i could watch a movie anytime anywhere. I particularly enjoy most movies from Q. Tarantino.
I'm not too much into books, unfortunately. Would love to read more after high school
I also love TV series (did i mention Game of Thrones ?) and football (bigtime L. Messi fan here)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Discovering the US through the eyes of a small Evangelist community next Rochester, NY . Amazing people and an awesome time in my life, yet the differences in lifestyle were truly eyes-opening for me.
Putting the ball in the hole with an amazing shot from 200 yards (hole in one) with a 7-iron club in a golfing competition (and winning the only points of my team).
Beat my brother on fifa (it was a penalty shootout though)
