ABOUT ME

I'm great at planning trips and even better at just "getting-up-and-going"- last minute adventures. I'm proud of what I've accomplished in this life. My style is unique. I'm showing my age around the eyes but for the most part, I like what I see. Love the theatre, or any great performances. I'm a great shopper and get a real charge out of finding interesting bargains; writing and reading all sorts of stuff, animal encounters, scuba diving, watching old classic movies walking along the shores of Lake Michigan collecting fossils, biking, kayaking, HORSES!and dark chocolate are some of the things that light me up.

Lately the stage has been calling me back and I find myself involved again in community theatre. My dog, Elky and I have teamed up to do Hospice therapy and R.E.A.D to Me; a program that helps kids improve their skills by reading to dogs. We are also working at our local dog pound fighting for the lives of those who have no voice. In my free time, I sleep :D

Burlesque, The Gymnast, Message in a Bottle, All About Eve, and a hundred more not listed. Musical Theatre Productions, Cher, Christina A, Josh Groban, Joni Mitchell, Brazilian and Latin music. I also get calmed by Chants of The Benedictine Monks. Books.... anything Tolle, Byron Katie; currently stacked on my bed are books about dogs(non-fiction), buddism, spiritualism and several selections of daily affirmation readings to inspire me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pounding the surf on a fast pony on the beaches in Costa Rica, horseback riding to the base of the volcanoes in Guatemala,witnessing a Jesus lizard skidaddle across a swamp in Costa Rica; Scuba diving the black hole in the Caymans, swimming with dolphins in Belize and feeding a school of stingrays in The Bahamas. Seeing The Northern Lights on a clear Michigan night.
