My name is Renen
which is already a beginning
(at least a beginning to introduce identity.
One has to start somewhere).
It's a rare name in the culture where I come from
and means "to run" in the culture where I live right now.
It's a reference point, a feeling.
There is performance art which is the central occupation of my adult life. Another occupation is to travel anywhere that I can and lights my desire, getting lost, finding things anew, spending time in the sun, hating an old definition of theatre and loving a new definition of it, cooking a lot, playing the piano, learning from my grandma the pleasure of eating the end of the rice on your plate with your hand, being in love with musical films from the past.
I study dance, context and choreography at the HZT Berlin, a part of the university of the arts.
I love to look at things and feel.
Believe in just do what you want to do.
Not necessarily following my own believes...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the last four years I've been through many good experiences, mainly as a surfer, made new friendships and created beautiful moments that have turned to beautiful memories. Really beautiful memories.
When it comes to sharing purposes, it is indeed the first step to create a better world.
Curious, love to share, autodidact, liberal and believe in faith of ourselves.
Music, Movies, and Books
Theory texts (art, philosophy, politics of certain topics), plays (can't count them all, it's all too much), a bit of prose and the good stuff. Add to it the music I love (can't name it either, sorry, I hope you are like me and can understand that).
And also the people I meet who are a direct influence to the way I live my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have to fill this section. Oh my god, can't we just talk about it when we meet..? :)
