Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to share my home every now and then and introduce people to the culture where I am living.
I would also like to meet people in places where I am going.

Interests

Reading, often about sailing. Scientific literature excites me. Sailing is one of my biggest hobby. I recently got into amateur radio, this is a great hobby. My callsign is OZ1II.

Music, Movies, and Books

Chopin, but also Wu Tang, not in combination though. My favourite movie was probably Into the Wild, partially for the story but also for the soundtrack.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have sailed the mediterranean for 6 months which eventually lead us through the entire canal system of France and we ended up in northern France with our boat. Then We sailed our boat through the english channel, the southern part of the North sea, through the Kiel canal and eventually up to Denmark.
Surfing in Australia alongside dolphins was extremely scary but at the same time inspiring.
