To broaden my horizons and open my eyes to what the world and its people have to offer. To have unforgettable experiences and create lifelong memories and friendships. When I'm old and dying, to be able to proudly say that I lived my life with no regrets.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24yo female from California, currently attending graduate school at Colorado State University for a Master's in Occupational Therapy. I love traveling and hiking, and I would like to do as much of that as possible while I'm in Colorado.

PHILOSOPHY

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a new member so I haven't had any CouchSurfing experiences up to this point... but I hope to have many in the future and to become a very experienced surfer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love all kinds of music! I love to sing. I can play a few songs on the guitar.

Books: I always love a good book. My favorites include Harry Potter (of course!), The Count of Monte Cristo, 1984, East of Eden, Catcher in the Rye

Movies: Faaar too many to name. But my all-time favorite is The Lion King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in southern California all my life and never knew there was anything more to see than the city and suburbs and, at nicest, its beaches. But I went hiking in LA one day in the summer of 2010 with some friends and, to my surprise, I had an amazing time. I went cliff jumping for the first time and it was absolutely exhilarating. There really are hidden gems of beauty in even the unlikeliest of places, and I hope to find more of them wherever I go.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really know if I can teach anything, but I'd love to share my passion for singing and [casually] playing guitar. Sharing my experiences, thoughts, views, and knowledge with others is one of my favorite things to do as well, so long as others are open to doing the same. I always love learning new things, so whatever you have to teach me, I'm more than eager to learn!
