Hello! My name is Rhiann but most people call me Rhi, and I guess I'm a typically English in the sense that I'm never far from a good cuppa and an even better book. I'm a pretty quirky, wannabe travel blogger who is simply full of wanderlust and a heart that was made for the open road!

I absolutely love exploring new places, and whilst I'm definitely more of a country girl I simply can't resist the pull of a city! My bucket list is almost as long as my 'To Be Read' list, which is really saying something! I'm heading off to Vietnam for three weeks in August, and heading to New Zealand in March/April 2018 on a working holiday Visa which I can barely contain my excitement for!

I'm a bit of a geek- absolutely love TV shows and computer games, and books are my second greatest love, and I play piano too! My facebook is literally full of animal videos, cooking videos and travel videos so that says enough about my interests!

I'm not sure what I want to do with my life, but I know that I want to see as much of the world as I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

All I know is that I want to travel, but being as young as I am it's harder to save up money, and I figure couch surfing is an amazing way to save a bit of money and make money go further! Plus, I get to meet awesome people all with stories of their own who can share their lives with me for a short time- what a privilege!

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely hate these questions purely and simply because it forces me to choose between all of the things I love! If I had to choose my favourite book it would be either Heir of Fire, Empire of Storms, or A Court of Mist and Fury, all by Sarah J Maas who is by far one of the best authors I've ever come across!

My favourite TV shows are definitely Game of Thrones, Vikings, The 100, The Originals and probably Outlander too.

My favourite movie is either Howl's Moving Castle or James Cameron's Avatar (that film gets me every single time!!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that booking and paying for my backpacking trip to Vietnam so young is quite an achievement!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have many life experiences but I'm hoping to start living life to the fullest! I can share stories, pictures and experiences of my travels, as well as help out with chores in order to help earn my keep. I can also help hosts learn English if English is not their first language!
