I am a Graphic Designer / Printmaker from the US, cycling around New Zealand until February. Normally an introvert, as I am traveling alone to put myself outside of my comfort zones, and have already met so many amazing people from all over the world during my short stay in New Zealand.

Seems like a lot of you guys use this as a form of tinder and only host female surfers. A courtesy response doesn't hurt.

I prefer to immerse myself in local culture rather than the normal tourist gig. What better way than to stay with locals and learn from them.
