About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to make a difference however small it may be.
ABOUT ME
I'm happiest with a pack on my back experiencing new places and meeting wonderful people. My families need for stability has put all that on hold for the last few years so we have parked up in a place that is pretty close to paradise......
PHILOSOPHY
Women, particularly have never had it so good or so many options in life. I feel blessed (though not in a religious way) to be living in this part of the world and in this time in history. I am very concerned however about the plight of our planet. How can she maintain us when we abuse her so?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When traveling the globe in my twenties I would often end up on some kind persons couch. Though new to this site and with no official couch surfing to date, I look forward to the people we have yet to meet.
Interests
We are a fairly 'outdoorsy' lot. Enjoy sea swimming, sailing, walking, biking and skiing when possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
We all read a lot and enjoy movies. A way to travel and learn from the comfort of your couch.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking the Tongariro Crossing is an amazing experience. Not particularly hard, or unusual, but amazing range of landscapes in one day and I love the mountain air.
Teach, Learn, Share
My daughter and I would love to learn Spanish and hope to one day live in a Spanish speaking country.
I part own a sail boat (Davidson 28) and if time and weather permits, am happy to take people out in her.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Tonga, United Kingdom, United States, Vanuatu
Countries I’ve Lived In
Netherlands, New Zealand, United Kingdom
