Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting people. When I travelled and stayed in places longer I always tried to connect with the locals, because they often teach you knew things, show you new ways to look at things and broaden your scope. It is always interesting & refreshing to see the world from a different perspective now and than & learn from other cultures and their customs.

In the Netherlands I often receive people who I met during traveling abroad and always love to re-connect and show them around.

Normally I just book a hotel, but My friend told me I should really try couch surfing, because she thought I would be the ideal couch surfer (her words ;)). And don't know if I would be the perfect one, but I think because I love meeting people, am very sociable, love to connect, love culture, she might justbe right that couch surfing suits me very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving, Hitch hiking and getting a lift from the Prince of Ubud (Indonesia), sand boarding, diving etc. Maybe cliché but true, still most of all I love meeting & connecting all those amazing people from all walks of live who you meet and who share their life stories with you.
