get out of the country while I still can!
I'm interested in almost any culture somehow but I think I have something like an isle-fetish.
I always loved Japan and started to study Japan studies a few years ago. I broke up after 3 semesters to turn to my true love English studies... so as long as some kind of isle-state is involved I'm up for it ^^
I'm now in my Master studies and already feel a little nostalgic that in 1,5 years my study days are over and I have to become an adult!
acceptance is gold
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, at the moment we only have a 1 room flat which makes lending our chouch a little complicated.. But we're already looking for a bigger flat ^_-
none so far.. be my first!
things I like: Japan, Tokyo, sewing, cooking, cleaning up kitchens (really! it is sooo relaxing to do the dishes!), reading, just staring holes into the air
things I dislike: smoking, drinking (yes I know I'm uncool... actually I'm fine with drinking, just don't do it myself), intolerance, ....
- bungee jumping
Music, Movies, and Books
movies: cruel intentions, batman: the dark knight, donnie darko, scott pilgrim agains the world, kick ass, x-men ...
tv-shows: pushing daisies, glee, lost, merlin, the O.C., grey's anatomy, desperate housewives, nip/tuck, californication, sailor moon (just a classic!), the roses of versailles (in Germany known as Lady Oscar)...
music: everything, whatever it is, if I like the tune I just like it, be it Lady Gaga or Marilyn Manson
but at the moment I can't stop listening to: Florence and the Machine, Marina and the Diamonds, Soundtracks by Ryan Murphy, every kind of music that ever played on the O.C.
books: Garth Nix "The Old Kingdom Series", Thomas Malory "Le Morte D'Arthur", C. Guy Clayton "The Blackeney Papers", everything by Jane Austen, Mary Shelley "Frankenstein"...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
bungee jump with my bf, going to Tokyo and walking through the city completely alone... I love being completely on my own somewhere I've never been before.. gives you way more time to explore everything for yourself!
