About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Our current mission is to travel a lot more and try to stay away from hotels. Meeting people and seeing places like the locals do is a priority.

ABOUT ME

My wife and I are easy to get along with. I am spontaneous and my wife likes to plan and know whats going on. We both are active and like to stay busy.

PHILOSOPHY

We live life to bring happiness to others and share life with each other. We believe in a personal relationship with Christ and are not overly "religous", we just try to live worthy of His love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are just getting started and would like to host and show people around Metro Detroit/Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti. We also are going to start traveling more and meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none so far...soon to change

Interests

We like to do active outdoors type of activities (i.e. disc golf, hiking, backpacking, walking around town.) We enjoy beer and microbreweries. We also like to play board games and talk with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings, all kinds of music from Missy Elliot to Matisyahu to Of Monsters and Men.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On our Honeymoon we road tripped from Michigan up to Maine and hiked together Mt. Katahdin. It is the highest peak in Maine. We meet some wonderful people, did some real physical challenging work, and overall caught the bug to travel. We only stayed in two hotel rooms over the two weeks, electing to camp and stay with family.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are urban farmers and keep chickens, grow hops, brew beer, and have a garden every year. We are open to learning about anything especially other cultures traditions. We also like to create anything from our own four hands. On top of that formal education in Physics, Math, Education, and the Medical field.
