Creating beautiful sound. Meeting beautiful people.
I just recently Moved to Oakland California from Everett Washington. The contrast in rhythm of life here is stimulating in comparison to back home. Though there is a lack of mountains, greenery and fresh air, the amount of divirsity in the Bay area is vibrant and stimulating, I came here because I saw opportunity, I was tired of the rain and the overcasts skies. Its sunny here most days! Family and friends mean the world to me. But In General, I'm very passionate about several things in my life such as Music, art, travel and skateboarding. I find these to be tools of expression that help me express myself and how I am shaped by my surroundings. I have a curiosity to learn new things, especially from new people. I admire those who make things, especially by hand. Craftsmanship in all forms is an essence of life, and for me i'm always hungry to discover new beautiful things. I also love food! Over all though, everyday I reflect upon my self and my actions in this world, and meditate on growing as a man functioning in this society and how I can help bring something positive and useful in to this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As of now, I haven't participated much. My current living situations has changed a few times in the last couple of months, so unfortunately I have no couch to offer for other travelers. Over the next year though, I plan on becoming more involved with Couch surfing Communities by meeting up with locals and travelers.
Last year I traveled down the West Coast of America, and crashed on lot of friends couches! It was fun and exciting to wake up with different environments everyday.
Music and art make the world go round. I like to listen and talk to people and share ideas and philosophies. The world is big, and I am small. There are a lot of places I would like to see in my existence as a human. I play several instruments including Guitar, drums, a little bass, and accordion. Skate boarding is beautiful in my eyes, and urban street culture that goes along with it capture my interest. Organic farming is important to me, along with good food and healthy living. I also love taking pictures. I use to carry my Cannon around much more until I fell victim to the i phone like the rest of the world. I love the convenience of I must admit, but often feel lazy for not using my real camera.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all different types of music from electron to Sludge/Power violence. Psychedelic rock to Hip Hop. Jazz to Ambiance. To name a few of my favorites Billie Holiday, Louis Armstong, MIles Davis, Alias, Aphex Twin, Shlohmo, Pink Floyd, THe Kinks, Black Sabbath, The Smiths, KIng Krule.
My favorite movie is definitely Akira.
And the most inspirational book I ever read was On the Road, by Jack Kerouac.
