About Me

Meet awesome people. Bond. Be healthy, happy and productive.

This is from the back cover description of my upcoming, soon-to-be-published Autobiography, "Little Big Man" (hope it doesn't scare you away!): Little Big Man is one man’s memoir of going to hell. And coming back through the other side, electrified. Year after year after year.
From wasting away from Stage 4 cancer, living destitute and drug addicted on the streets, watching his closest family members die, and being shot, stabbed and bitten, to producing movies and concerts, communing with spiritual leaders and porn stars, leading and carousing with the world’s biggest pro wrestlers and mixed martial arts fighters, becoming a Dad and in his own inimitable style, running roughshod over The Walt Disney Company as a high-ranking exec...Little Big Man is a story of excess and extremes, of experiencing the highest of highs and living the lowest of lows. “Really, it’s almost as if I’ve lived eight separate and distinctive lives. And nearly died in every one of them.”
Travel every corner of the globe on one bizarre adventure after another, to the extreme opposite recesses of an often hysterical, often dark and twisted, and always outrageous mind…
Follow one person on his quest…to live his life to the max or do his damnedest to die trying.

RICK BASSMAN is a Stage 4 cancer survivor, a New Thought enthusiast, and volunteers for pit bull rescue. In 2013, he and his beloved Staffordshire Terriers, Ramone and GoGo, returned from an 18 month sabbatical in the mountains of Big Bear where they and hiked and enjoyed the lake and where Rick completed his Autobiography, “Little Big Man.” Following a months-long critical medical scare, the three amigos are now living together in San Clemente and enjoying the beach city lifestyle. Rick plans on doing one more Pro Wrestling match and a Mixed Martial Arts match in his early 50s, “just to prove to myself I can,” and is focused on guiding his book to the top of the New York Times Bestseller and Amazon list. Ramone & GoGo plan on playing in the waves and having lots of treats and naps.
