About Me

I love meeting new people. I do come off shy when we first meet, but I'm the kind of person who immediately opens up to you and I think we can become fast friends! I've come to experience a lot of new things while here in Japan, and I owe it all to the many great friends I've made since coming here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about it from my Slovenian friend. The idea of meeting someone new, bonding over travel experiences, sharing in homely hospitality, this just sounds like the greatest idea I've ever heard for a traveling site!

Interests

I love going to new places, chatting about just about anything and everything, playing games, going out for drinks. If you want to go to karaoke, I'm your guy! I love listening to music just for the fun of it, and some days, I feel there's nothing wrong with laying back, relaxing, and letting the day pass by in lazy comfort.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
One OK Rock, Exile, Spyair, Adele, Alanis Morissette, Bump Of Chicken, Elton John, Fall Out Boy, Fleetwood Mac, and so on. Basically, it's easier to figure out what music I don't like. :)

Books:
Anything by Stephen King, Courting Trouble by Lisa Scottoline, I'd be lying if I said I didn't love Harry Potter, and several John Grisham novels. And that is just the beginning!

Movies:
Rurouni Kenshin, Transformers, Naruto The Last Movie, Oliver and Company, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It might only be considered amazing to some people, but for me, it's pretty marvelous to live in a place like Miyazaki where you can see so many stars in the night sky. Where I'm from, that's not really possible, so to see a sky filled with stars is a wonderful experience. That's just me, though. I like seeing the amazing qualities in the simplest things.

Teach, Learn, Share

For those wanting to learn some English, I have no problem teaching you something. I'm currently studying to become an English teacher in Japan, so it would be great practice for me. However, I also am studying Japanese, so please let me speak Japanese with you (if you speak it). Also, I have been studying karate since coming to Japan, so we can definitely bond over that, if you'd like.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can adjust myself to any necessary accommodations that might be expected of me. So if they need some help cleaning something, maybe some English learning advice, even just a conversation buddy, I really am quite flexible. After all, you're offering me a place to stay, so I think it's a given that I'd want to show my gratitude in some shape or form.

Countries I’ve Lived In
