我做过的一件不可思议的事情

one of the most amazing things I have seen was the time i was working a night shift looking after an old man, 90 years old, Losing his memory couldnt remember the past 30 years of his.It was 2.30am a haze of fatigue creeping over me. I could tell he needed some assistance A very proud man, which came through strongly in the way he talked with a slightly regal enunciation. Refused any help until absolutely necessary as he didnt want to be a burden to others. I asked him what advice would he give to a young man like myself still trying to discover what is good and true in the world. He stopped, with a pensive look in his eyes which were flickering around as if scanning the remenence of his memories. He Turned to me and said "You go out and you win". The core of what this man had learnt summed up in six words and I believed him.
