ABOUT ME

26-years old and loving life, incurable optimist. :) Some people call me naive, but I'm rather a bit naive than cynical. I got married during the summer and started school as an adult student in Tampere. I work as a chef and shift manager in a restaurant in Pori, where I live with my husband.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not into any religion but still I somehow believe in karma, if you like to call it that. Do good and you receive good. Do bad and you get back what you deserve.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, yet. I once saw a documentary tv-show about couchsurfing and it seemed like a nice way to meet new people from all walks of life!

Interests

My interests include a lot of "granny hobbies" like knitting, cross-stitching and all kinds of arts and crafts, but also reading, music (listening, playing, singing), all kinds of games, good company, long talks, outdoor exercise.. I'm also a quite good cook, I've been working in restaurants for 7 years now and still loving it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Finding Neverland is my all time favourite. I like a lot of movies: touching drama, intense action, comedy etc.

Music: In my early teens I loved girl pop like Spice Girls! Then I developed into metal, hard rock and goth-pop, nowadays I welcome all kinds of music from pop to metal, indie, ethnic, classical.. as long as it's good, I've got no need to categorize my favourite.

Books: I love the light and well humouring books from Erlend Loe! As well as the dark poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, avant-gardist novels of Samuel Beckett, epic stories of old times and fantasy worlds... I can sink into the world of every good book and just lose myself. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer we were on honeymoon in Croatia. The whole trip was cool, but there, when returning from an island trip we saw the most amazing sunset ever. From purple and pink clouds the sun dropped down burning in hot pink and slowly sank behind the islands... it was visible only for a few minutes but I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
