About Me

ABOUT ME

At 26 (yikes!) my interest in traveling/experiencing the world around me has only just begun. I'm laid back, curious, and mildly obsessed with living in Italy someday.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm gonna have to think about this one...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting started!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had many but hopefully that will change with your help!

Interests

music, music, music, good food, good friends, good wine, traveling, people I can learn from, the occasional rainy day, reading, teaching, yoga, piano, revisiting old hobbies and learning new ones

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is a toss up between True Romance and [Leon] The Professional. Nowadays, I'm listening to obscene amounts of Beirut, Andrew Bird, and Kaki King. Before reading Haruki Murakami novels I had never really followed any one particular author. I'd say I'm a pretty big fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

10 hour night hike up Mt. Fuji making it just in time to watch the sunrise.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you a thing or two about yoga, living in the Japanese country (read: how not to go insane), staying dry while riding your bike through a rainstorm, whistling like a rock star and whipping up a proper tomato gravy.

I'd love to learn more about organic/vegetarian cooking, traveling, gardening, knitting, crafting, [interior] design, DIY, photography, teaching ESL, second language acquisition (read:how to become fluent in Italian and Spanish), how to wink.

Countries I’ve Visited

Aruba, Australia, Canada, Guam, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, United States
