I am always interested in meeting new people, especially from different cultural backgrounds than myself. I think in order to have a genuine perspective of life, one must try to understand or get to know every corner of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Currently reading The Toltec Art of Life and Death. Some favorites: Tiny Beautiful Things, Kite Runner, The Untethered Soul, Stieg Larsson Trilogy, etc....

Music: Anything with a good beat and/or meaningful lyrics. I love all types of music, with the exception of most country...Frank Ocean, Billie Eilish, Banks, Gomez, Blind Pilot, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, the list goes on....

Food: I will try anything once. I love the connection food can bring to people. Some of my favorites: Tacos, Enchiladas, Carbonara, Zucchini Pancakes, Salmon, Sushi, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job to travel Europe....

Lived in Australia for 7 months and traveled to Thailand & New Zealand.

Left Oregon, the state I grew up in, with a population of 4 million (for the whole state) and moved to New York City with no job and no apartment, a city of 8 million. 4 years later, I feel as though I am thriving and ready for the next challenge. NYC will always have a place in my heart and Oregon too.

I couldn't think of just one. I think life presents us with amazing things all of the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach writing and editing style. Also resume writing and formatting. I could teach someone how to sing :-) I don't have formal training but I love to do it. How to make delicious enchiladas. Career/Life coaching

Learn: I would love to learn any new languages. Piano. Always wanting to learn about new music. New cuisine, cooking or eating.

Share: Ideas, stories, cultural background. Thoughts & inspirations.
