My current mission is to travel until I find a place to call home.

I'm a rather shy nomad who likes to observe a lot and eplore places. I love languages and will try to pick them up as I go along. I'm easy going, easily entertained, and I have an unhealthy obsession with maps. I think that's about all. Oh, and I always have my towel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost any type of music, but I mostly listen to rock (not metal) in a few different languages. Movies: Imagine Me & You, Little Miss Sunshine, Brokeback Mountain, H2G2, Dead Poet's Society. TV: The Riches, The L Word, Boston Legal, Reaper. Books: Anything and everything, though I have a particular fondness for Jorge Luis Borges and Edgar Allen Poe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw Mars from a telescope on Lake Titicaca, Bolivia one cool May evening. This is second only to sitting at a small table in a tiny village on an island on that same lake, watching the sun set over the snow capped mountains. It's the highest navagable lake in the world, and I felt certainly on top of it.
