Overview
About Me
Easy going, quiet at first, but friendly, full of witty and sarcastic comments.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a frequent flyer of couches. Mostly of the friend and family variety, whom I visit often for weekend getaways. I used to travel a ton for work, loved the travel, the amount of work less so. I still get the itch to travel every now and then. I'm pretty humble and I don't always feel the need for the luxury or expense of a hotel room (since I don't really like luxury). Sometimes I just need some shared laughs over a beverage, a carpeted floor to sleep on (I have a bad back), a shower, and random adventures. Couchsurfing seems to specialize in those amenities and obliges me to openly offer an instant friendship, which as a natural introvert, is like a vacation full of any possibilities your conversation can offer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Oh geez... it really depends on my mood. Honestly, I listen to 9 radio stations. I can enjoy me some Alternative, Americana, Smooth Jazz, R & B, Sunday Blues, some Pop, Classical, EDM, Industrial... but you know, I can also sing along to some of the older country music too.
Movies - I love sci-fi movies, futuristic stuff, who doesn't love action and adventure, maybe a heavy dash of older disneys
Books - I worked in a library while in undergrad, let me tell you... it led to commitment issues. Why commit to an entire book when you could browse snippets part-time for five years? Especially when my last serious commitment was Song of Fire and Ice at the precipice of a 9 year publishing hiatus. Sometimes I wonder about the correlation of the discovery of dark energy and George's ability to finish writing a book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wandered alone in M50, somewhere in Shanghai... there is a painting of me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Adventure stories! An appreciation of craft beer, local food and shops. Why does almost no one have pictures of their couches on here? Also, I always bring a gift for us to share.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, China, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico
