Likes to travel to unwind, but always restricted by limitations including a flight threshold of not more than 6-8 hours, among others. Thus, manage mostly virtual travels and travel books reading or travel channels viewing. In the mean time, doesn't mind the occasional visits from friends juz saying hello or dropping in for a cuppa.
The tight squeeze and claustrophobic condition here makes me look forward to any holiday. BUT, the irony is, feeling comfortable, and safe, upon touching base, even after a wonderful break somewhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Anyone welcome to join me for coffee. Would love to chat about going for a budget or backpacking trip overland to Japan's four islands.
Still a newbie. Juz luv the interaction among citizens of the world in any activity. Imagine a long hike peppered with stories from many parts of the world, or even an interesting story or two, around the table during lunch or dinner.
Japan, (and lately,) Korea, Spain and Italy. The interest is in visiting them, especially the beauty of some of the attractions. Closer home would be Indonesia - Eastern Java especially. Would luv to learn the languages, too, at least before visiting these places.
Music, Movies, and Books
Enjoys movies like 'Dune', 'The Usual Suspects', 'Dark City', 'Identity' and the likes. Always looking forward to any (good) movie not from the 'comic book' genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
still discovering new things, skills and wonders everyday. surprisingly, its juz in the backyard..makes you want to be the guide to these amazing finds for visitors to this little island...

Would love to complete my Asian travels before moving on to the rest of the world. Rather familiar with SE Asian region and parts of Japan, and wouldn't mind sharing it with anyone. Would in return love to complete my Japan travelogue and move on to Korea.
