ABOUT ME

I am 28 years old I am from a small town in North East Missouri. I am currently working on my doctorate in Learning Teaching and Curicculum in Social Studies Education and Policy at MU. I have lived in China for year teaching english in Qingdao which was awesome in some ways and not so awesome in others. After China I taught english in Brazil for 7 months.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Seoul I wanted to visit a Fort that was in my guide book. I went on a trail and walked for a few hours. When I got to the top I discovered that I could have just taken a taxi or bus up the other side. There was a Korean culture festival going on. It was so amazing to just walk on a trail and then find a Culture festival. After that I decided that that was going to be how I want to travel, not rely on the tour buses, but instead discover things on my own.
