About Me

Seeing the world one couch at a time!

Always start from birth if you have to start at all. I was born in Tyndall, South Dakota in the United States. I lived in this town of 1,200 people until I was 8. I then moved to Yankton, South Dakota where I finished high school from North Dakota... Long story. I am a student at the University of Minnesota, both fortunately and unfortunately, for a cumulative billion reasons, actually probably 10 reasons. And I exagerate a ton, as you just saw. I work at a hotel in reception, which is a demanding job but a great one. The job works well, because I enjoy helping people out and learning new things about the city to pass on new people. I am excited to have found this website because I love traveling and experiencing new things, and I love helping out those who feel the same!

I feel like everything that I would say is generic, but hopefully someone can understand where I´m coming from. I truly believe that you have one life, and that the only things you´ll regret are the things you haven´t done as opposed to the ones that you have. I also believe that since it is your only life you should live in the moment and try to love everything that you do. Not that you shouldn't have regrets but that your regrets are minimal. ENJOY LIFE because no one else is going to do it for you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have not surfed yet, but I am excited to try it out soon. I am studying abroad in Toledo, Spain this first academic semester, and then I'll study in Barcelona, Spain the second semester. I am trying to travel as much as possible while I have the chance on weekends and holidays. I have heard great things from friends who have used this sight, and I look forward to my own experiences.
