ABOUT ME
I grew up in Stamford, CT.
I got my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
I spent the next year with AmeriCorps NCCC. I was based out of Sacramento, California and had projects in Portland, Oregon (working with SOLV doing invasive plant removal) Sacramento, California (helping people file their tax returns) and two in New Orleans, Louisiana (working with Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West building houses & living and working in the Lower Ninth Ward doing some rebuilding) along with other various community service projects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not experienced it yet, but recently found out about it through a friend. Sounds like an amazing idea and can't wait to start. I am starting a cross-country trip in May and am looking forward to meeting some new people along the way.

Movies: Man on Fire, Role Models, Saving Private Ryan...another list that could go on forever
Books: Pretty much anything in the Social Science section - not a big fan of fiction. Includes Band of Brothers, Into the Wild, and The Looming Tower.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 10 months doing AmeriCorps NCCC last year. Got to live and work with some amazing people. Also got to visit some pretty cool places. Met tons of new friends.
