About Me

We are against CS Corporation! https://www.couchsurfing.com/groups/45507
Pimp Up Your Profile Photo! http://www.3rdw.net/cs/pimpup

I'm currently in Finland. If you want to visit Finland at my place, this might be your only chance! I don't come here often... Planning to go back to Barcelona soon!

Hmm, well... If I tell everything about me, you'll be reading this description for weeks. Not because I have such a intersting life but because when I start typing... I just keep going on and on and on... So lets not do that. :)

But to summarize... I was studying astronomy in university of Oulu (Finland), the city where I lived past 7 years before moving to Paris (France) for some time. After Paris I started to travel full time and but someday I'm planning to settle down to France or Paris permanently. In the distant past, before going to army and studying, I used to live in small town in eastern Finland. And even before that, I used to live in Stockholm (Sweden), where I was born... Even if I liked Finland, my heart belongs to somewhere else. The place my heart truly belongs to is Paris, of course. Paris, je t'aime !

I'm passionate photographer, visual artist, designer & computer freak. Also an extremely active on international fan community of one certain French singer. To help to people to find what I found years ago, what became my passion number one, what changed my life. This has bring me together with dozens of great friends all around the world (before even joining CS), who I'd have never met otherwise.

And couple things more.. I may look a bit shy and silent, because I am. But when I warm up, nothing can stop me. :) I fight for my believes of this world, because without them, what's the point believing in them ? So, if you end up into arguing with me about taste of wine, music, whatever... just enjoy it. It's fun at it's best. :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

How I participate in CSSince joining CS, I have been most of the time travelling myself so I haven't had that much chance to host. Sometimes I have a place to offer and I'm happy to host those in emergency since I have been there myself, too, in the past. I have myself surferd quite a lot by now, in Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, Andorra and Spain. And I of course take part and organize all kind of CS events all around the world. Especially I love invasions. :) You can count me in as regular visitor in the meetings, in whatever city I happen to be at that moment.

People I have surfed :
Too many to count (I'll list someday). HUGE thanks to each and everyone of them !

People I have hosted (only few since I have traveled most of my time) :
1. Timo (Finland) (10+ nights)
2. Gintaras (Netherland) (6 nights)
3. Katri & Eeva (Finland) (1 night)
4. Petteri (Finland) (10+ nights)
5. Karlagash (Kazhakstan) (1 night)
6. Fernando & Stéphanie (Mexico & France) (1 night)
7. Marco (German) (2 nights)
8. Didi (China) (6 nights)
9. Lauren (Australia) (3 nights)
10. Terry (Hong Kong) (1 night)
11. Patrik (Sweden) (1 night)

CouchSurfing experience:
My first surfing experience was in Amsterdam in autumn 2008. I tried to surf once before that (in Strasbourg) with my friend but it did not work out that time. After Amsterdam, I have been surfing all around Europe many times.Even though I haven't had the chance to host many (due to fact that I have bene travelling 95% of the time I have been in CS), all the visitors at my couch has been great. We have had fun exploring the city and chilling out. So really, nothing to complain. I would love to host more people, and will do as soon as I will have my own flat (or even own room) again somewhere in France! But other than actualy CSing, of course I have great experiences of meeting dozens and dozens and dozens CS people ! We meet all the time in the city (Paris) and everyone I have ever met has been amazing person, just what you'd expect CS members to be ! It's clear to see that the people in CS is serious about CouchSurfing !I have to say that I have not a single bad experience so far. And that's amazing !

Photography is my passion number two. Visual arts comes as my third passion. Music gets the fourth place. Whilst movies comes as fifth. Other things I'm interested in varies greatly. I love information, and I love details. I can spend hours acquiring one tiny piece of detail, that I will never have any use for... but I has to know it ! Also cooking I love nowadays! Since I finally learned how to do it. Thanks to Couchsurfing. :) And I like a bit of travelling... surprisingly ! Did I forget something ? Oh right... the number one passion... well, it's one French singer... her voice is like a drug for me !

What about all those girls I pose within some of the photos, you might wonder... well, here they are listed (I still have several of them):

One Amazing Thing I've Done

.The most amazing thing ever was just a moment ago... 3rd of December, 2007. That day I will remember through the rest of my life. Or at least what I can remember of it after the first shock... I finally met the person I have so badly wanted to meet. Years of waiting, years of dedicating for one matter... and I finally met her!

One week in Las Vegas, all expenses paid by a sponsor!

Trip to México with my friends! And while being there, realizing to be a star and being surrounded by dozens of unknown Méxicans! (well, I knew few of them) What a bizarre feeling!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:Photographing, computers, Finnish, cooking...

Learn:Anything goes (except French... I just can't learn it !) And cooking, of course !

Share:The fun (and everything about this mysterious French singer...)
