I'm currently in Finland. If you want to visit Finland at my place, this might be your only chance! I don't come here often... Planning to go back to Barcelona soon!
Hmm, well... If I tell everything about me, you'll be reading this description for weeks. Not because I have such a intersting life but because when I start typing... I just keep going on and on and on... So lets not do that. :)
But to summarize... I was studying astronomy in university of Oulu (Finland), the city where I lived past 7 years before moving to Paris (France) for some time. After Paris I started to travel full time and I ended up circling in Western and Southern Europe. Finally went to Barcelona for a weekend and stayed there for couple years before leaving again.
I'm passionate photographer, visual artist, designer & computer freak. Also an extremely active on international fan community of one certain French singer. To help to people to find what I found years ago, what became my passion number one, what changed my life. This has bring me together with dozens of great friends all around the world (before even joining CS), who I'd have never met otherwise.
And couple things more.. I may look a bit shy and silent at first, because I am. But when I warm up, nothing can stop me. :) I fight for my believes of this world, because without them, what's the point believing in them ? So, if you end up into arguing with me about taste of wine, music, whatever... just enjoy it. It's fun at it's best. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since joining CS, I have been most of the time traveling myself so I haven't had that much chance to host. Sometimes I have a place to offer and I'm happy to host those in emergency since I have been there myself, too, in the past. I have myself surfed quite a lot by now, in Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, Andorra and Spain. And I of course take part and organize all kind of CS events all around the world. Especially I love invasions. :) You can count me in as regular visitor in the meetings, in whatever city I happen to be at that moment.
Huge thanks to all people who have hosted me during my travels, you are too many to count.
And it was pleasure to host those few people I had chance to host around the Europe, when I have stayed in one place longer than few days!
My first surfing experience was in Amsterdam in autumn 2008. I tried to surf once before that (in Strasbourg) with my friend but it did not work out that time. After Amsterdam, I have been surfing all around Europe many times.Even though I haven't had the chance to host many (due to fact that I have been traveling 95% of the time I have been in CS), all the visitors at my couch has been great. We have had fun exploring the city and chilling out. So really, nothing to complain. I would love to host more people, and will do as soon as I will have my own flat (or even own room) again somewhere in France! But other than actually CSing, of course I have great experiences of meeting dozens and dozens and dozens CS people ! We meet all the time in the city (Paris) and everyone I have ever met has been amazing person, just what you'd expect CS members to be ! It's clear to see that the people in CS is serious about CouchSurfing !I have to say that I have not a single bad experience so far. And that's amazing !
I love photography. If you one day meet me, I'm likely with one of my cameras. One of them because I can't carry all of them, they are too numerous. :) I'm big fan of old film cameras, even if I have to carry digital one, too.
I love music also. Mostly French and Italian pop music but listen all kinds of music really. I have hitchhiked all around Europe to go to see my favorite artists playing.
As I lived with computers big part of my earlier life (read: life before traveling), they are still part of me. Well, I need them of course for photography, too. Could not live without them, I guess.
I like a lot cooking and experiencing with food I'm not familiar with. And while eating, why not enjoy some good movies... Not as big movie fan anymore as I used to be (when I still had my DVD storage) but still enjoy them!
Music, Movies, and Books
Alizée, Iron Maiden, Manu Chao, Natasha St-Pier, Zen Café, Yann Tiersen, Mylène Farmer, Rolling Stones, Madonna, Laura Pausini, Andrée Watters, Beatles, Helene Segara, Indochine, Pascal Obispo, Queen, Patricia Kaas, Simon & Garfunkel, Vanessa Paradis, Scorpions, Zazie, Alice Cooper, TAL... actually... anything goes !
Action, comedies, French & Asian movies. Mostly not hollywood films...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One week in Las Vegas, all expenses paid by a sponsor!
Trip to México with my friends! And while being there, realizing to be a star and being surrounded by dozens of unknown Méxicans! (well, I knew few of them) What a bizarre feeling!
