to find something that no-one else has before, and share it with the world.
i am 24, i love to laugh, I do wierd things that most others wouldn't. I live everyday like it is the last day of my life. if there is an opportunity to experience something new, i do everything that i can to try it. i have a horrible fear of heights but i love to conquer my fears, so skydiving is in my near future. By nature i am kinda shy, so i joined a rock band and met thousands of people. that is how i live my life, if i see a problem i figure out how to overcome it. if you dont like people who are a bit crazy then we probably wouldnt get along. But most people find me pretty easy to deal with, (or at least it seems that way.)
every day that i waste, is a day that has been wasted on me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i have only just joined this but it sounds like an amazing opportunity for people to not only experience different places in the world, but to meet really cool people along the way. this seems like an awesome idea and i really hope that people all over the world embrace it.
i have never done anything like this via the internet, although when i was touring there were many occasions when the band would end up at someones house after the show. this i found to be far more fun than any hotel room since the people who took you in are far more interested in showing you the things that make their area special than a concierge.
i remember one time in particular, in redding california, (which is in the middle of nowhere, and a tiny city in itself) we ended up after a show in the woods at a cabin/house there were 4 girls and 6 guys in this tiny place when we arrived. but within half an hour there were easily 100 people and we started bonfires in the driveway and moved the stereo to the porch, someone brought two kegs and we ended up starting a huge party in the middle of the woods just because they felt like it. i personally awoke in the morning in a rocking chair and a sleeping bag in the forest. i am not sure how that happened but i know that had a great time and that is a memory that will never leave me.
i love music, i love food, i love to learn, i love movies, games, anything fun, trying new things, being wacky, "acting a fool", talking, writing, going out, i absolutely love dating (not necessarily anything else just the chase), and actually for the most part i love people. i am pretty good with animals, although it takes them a minute to warm up to me sometimes. i like to read, and i (although it may not seem like it from how much i am writing about myself)love to listen.
Music, Movies, and Books
i will watch listen or read anything. doesn't matter what it is, before i form my opinion of it. so i guess my views in media are to say the least eclectic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i released a wild falcon from captivity, and watched it soar into the sky as if its wings had been given back to him. it was probably one of the most beautiful things that i have ever barred witness to.
Teach, Learn, Share
i can show someone how to be free. and i would love to learn how to be so as well.
