Not much to say really, we have both lived in Durham most of our lives. We're familiar with the local attractions, and know which pubs and resteraunts are worth going to.

We really enjoy the outdoors and their are a range of activies within a few miles of us that can be enjoyed by anyone who has a similar interest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've heard a lot of god things from friends and family who have used couch surfing for travel. It seems like agreat way to meet intersting people from all over the world.

Interests

Outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, biking riding and generally just exploring new places! I'm also really into technololgy and gaming.

My wife really enjoys walking, writing, reading, cooking and is a big film fan!

Music, Movies, and Books

We both have quite a wide range of interests...

For me, music is everything from indie through to rock. i'm not a big reader personally, but do enjoy Bret Easton Ellis' work. My favourite films really range but my main interests lie in martial arts, comedies and comic book adaptations, my favourite movie of all time has got to be The Crow though.

My wife's main music interests lie in old punk rock, 50s, 60s and 70s rock n roll, plus she's really into musical soundtracks. Her book collection is huge, her favourite author being Stephen King. Her favourite book of all time is his own 11.22.63, but she also loves the Odd Thomas series (Dean Koontz), the Harry Potter series, The Help (Katheryn Stockart), and To Kill A Mockingbird, amongst many others. She's really in films, loves anything Hitchcock and really enjoys old horro moives. Her favoure movie of all time is Reservoir Dogs though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I (Rob) spent four weeks travelling Asia. It was a great experience that I really learnt a lot from.
