I'm on exchange in Sweden from Australia, and while I'm here I'd love to travel around mainland Europe and Britain as well. I'd like to use this experience to best better my self and one way of doing that I think is to meet locals and get insight from them.
I don't really think that you can get to know a city without interacting with those that live there; something tourists may not be able to do so much. I'm not looking for a host to be a tour guide, but conversation occasionally is nice.

Being an exchange student I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and learn more about various cities from their residents.

I love coffee, listening to music, and reading. My Doc's are also pretty important to me. Haha. I'm always wanting to learn more about the world, especially Scandinavia and the surrounding region. I'm learning Swedish but also want to one day pick up Finnish. So language is pretty important to me. Calligraphy, as well.

Music: Enter Shikari, A day to Remember, Lana Del Rey, Everything Everything, Djurparken, Tkay Maidza, Cashmere Cat, Purity Ring, APpex Twin, SOPHIE, Alison Wonderland; pretty varied honestly.

Books: A Farewell to Arms, All Quiet on the Western Front, Jane Eyre, Slaughterhouse V, I've yet to read Dune though but its on a list that is maybe too long. Haha.

Movies: Napoleon Dynamite, The Room, Me & Earl & The Dying Girl. I'm not much of a fan of movies, I'd much rather read or listen to music.

I love to help others and I think a great way is through education. Whether academic, or simply about sharing life experiences and learning from others based on their own life experiences.

I'm tidy, and good company, but I am definitely always up for socialising or even just having a chat. Australia doesn't really have any traditional food so I couldn't really cook a traditional Australian meal. Haha. Though they do export many wines if that's more your thing.
