Give up coffee while getting a degree in engineering
I'm a student at the University of Michigan, in case you didn't read almost any other part of my profile. I'm studying engineering which I tend to regret with every all-nighter. I run. A lot. Like more than almost anybody else I have met. I'm on the running club here, participating in possibly the stupidest sport I have ever heard of. And I love it.
Based on all the crap I put myself through, you might think I hate myself. I actually do not. My friends have called me one of the rare "social engineers" only slightly less rare than the mythical "girl engineer". I love talking to people. In fact, I had a job talking to people last summer.
When I was little, my best friend was Confuscious, so I think I know a thing or two about philosophy. I value experiences with other people and the ability to listen to someone else, no matter how boring they are. I also value working hard at whatever your life goal is (in my case, engineering).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate in the running club here at U of M, and I guess I participate in my classes against my will. I participate with my friends in whatever they do, and I participate in a lot of things that I regret. Kind of.
Absolutely flipping none. Frankly, I'm terrified.
If you haven't guessed it yet, my biggest interest is running. If you don't run, I'm pretty sure we can still get along though. I also enjoy nerdy activities like programming, reddit, and science fiction movies. Unfortunately, I can onnly find time for one of those during the week.
