Everything, everywhere, all the time.
I was born on a small island in the pacific, son of a Navy sailor and a flight attendant. For most of my life as I grew up the longest we would ever stay in one place would be five years. I have developed a lust and wonder for the things that would seem foreign to me. Many of my good friends are travelers, either from other countries or from other parts of the US.
I love music -I play trumpet, guitar, and am learning drums, keyboard and music production. I love the ocean and surf. I just spent six months in India where I began learning yoga.
I am considerate and easygoing. I never ask for anything not offered.
My weakness is really lack of planning... I tend to live day to day. We will see where it takes me :)
I live my life for people I love, and the things I love to do.
It is never too late to start. Anything. Many of the things that make me happiest I didnt start until later in life.
With learning anything, dont practice - play. If its not fun why do it?
Be comfortable being uncomfortable.
The secret to happiness is freedom. The secret to freedom is courage.
I am lost. It is exciting and scary. Beautiful and humbling. I am thankful that I can be lost, that I have the freedom to float. I know (think) one day I will return to the "normal" world. Just have to sort out the details ;)
Turn off the fucking television.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only recently started - I am on a long trip, and so I can only offer my time and company, a beer or three, a good conversation and some music in exchange for a nice couch and a corner to set my bags and guitar.
I have not planned well enough to know where I would be far enough in advance to use couchsurfing for surfing per sey. However I did meet some great people in Lviv for a night of Salsa dancing! That was some fun, but man did I feel like a bread stick!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paddled out on big wednesday 2005 in San Diego, went to the Ghanish Festival in Mumbai, rode the worlds most dangerous road in Bolivia, surfed with dolphins at sunset almost every night for three years, took yoga classes in India, hiked for a week in Pategonia, for another week in the Sierra Nevadas, played in amazing musical groups opening for Pennywise and Ghostface Killa and De la Soul. Quit my job!
